DARRYL BUCHANAN SHORT BIO

Darryl Buchanan has toured the glode for over 25 years. While growing up in South Bend, IN at age 17 he was discovered by the legendary Motown recording artist Jr. “Shotgun” Walker and started doing world tours in the 1980’s. Through out his musical career he has graced the stage with many famous groups like The Temptations, Legendary James Brown band director Fred Wesley of the JB’s, and the Motown Revue. In 1993 while a part of the Jr. Walker’s band, Darryl performed at President Bill Clinton’s Inaugrual Ball.

 

Darryl has also performed on many TV shows including NBC’s Saturday Night Live. Growing up in a family of talented singers and musicians, he first picked up the guitar at age 12. Then years later Darryl advanced to the bass and keyboards. Influenced by the likes of Carlos Santana and Jimi Hendrix, Darryl’s brillient guitar solo’s are always a crowd pleaser! His musical gifts and stage persona has earned him popularity with deverse crowds worldwide.

 

On top of having a busy live performance schedule, Darryl Buchanan has been doing other industry ventures like producing Soul R&B and Pop music with various artist. Having a love for the blues, Darryl is currently in the studio with Shirley King, the daughter of Blues legend BB King. On August 29, 2009 Darryl was awarded the certificate of recognition by the city of South Bend, IN Mayor Stephen J Lueke for his 30 years in music and his accomplishments. 

 

DONI HAGAN SHORT BIO

Doni Hagan is an internationally recognized producer, musician and voice artist from Chicago, IL. As a drummer and vocalist, he can be heard on the film soundtracks for SHORT EYES, STONY ISLAND, SPARKLE, COLORS, FILTHY RICH, LET'S DO IT AGAIN and A PIECE OF THE ACTION. In his 35-year music career, Doni has performed on 100+ recordings with numerous artists. He is credited with producing the drum programs for Marvin Gaye's MIDNIGHT LOVE, which includes the now classic recording SEXUAL HEALING. His premiere solo effort WOULD YOU LIKE TO DANCE (Infinity Records) earned him gold albums from France and Holland. He has toured with countless national and international artists including CHAKA KHAN, MARVIN GAYE, ARETHA FRANKLIN, BILL WITHERS, CURTIS MAYFIELD, GEORGE MICHAEL, DEON ESTUS, THE BARKAYS, PIA MOREA-DELGADO, MARCELLA, ESTRANGER, PATO GARCIA, CERRONE, NATALIE COLE, THE PETE COSEY QUINTET and JESSY DIXON & THE DIXON SINGERS.
